The
La Puente Senior Center opened its doors on June 5, 1995. The Center was
designed to meet the needs of the City’s growing senior population, age 55 and
older. The 10,500 square foot facility exists to provide a safe place for
seniors to participate in activities and services that allow them to socialize
with their peers, contribute to their community, and continue to be mentally
and physically active, healthy and vital.
Senior’s
can receive nutritious meals; participate in a variety of educational and recreational
activities, dances, and excursions. We also offer social assistance through a
variety of free services. The facility includes meeting rooms, fitness area,
library/television room, computer room, classrooms, dining hall, and a billiard
room. Hacienda/La Puente
Adult Education provides
a selection of adult classes at no cost to senior citizens, 55 and above.
