Mr. House was appointed to the La Puente City Council on March 19, 2010. Prior to the appointment, Mr. House served as Director and President of the La Puente Valley Council Water District since December 2003. He has also served as President of the Greater La Puente Valley Meals on Wheels organization.

Mr. House has been married to his wife Thekla for 53 years and has three children and four grandchildren. Mr. House is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
